This is a continuation of my previous post.

One thing unique with Restoran Murni is that they do not have a menu! I mean, I think they don’t have one. If I’m not mistaken, the last time I asked them for one, they told me they don’t have any. Instead, the waiter started going, “Kita ada roti beckham, nasi goreng beckham, mee goreng beckham, ….”.

I don’t really remember what else they have. It seems that if they have “roti ABC”, they’ll also have “nasi/mee goreng ABC” etc. So, whenever I go there for food, it’s always a big headache to order my food. Therefore, the first thing I’ll do when I reach there is to look at what other people is eating. Or else, I’ll end up calling either lou-shu fun or roti beckham. Truth be told, I believe 80% of the customers do the same as well. The 20% must be regulars and have been there many many times.

So, when I was there the other day, I told myself that I MUST try something different from what I’ve eaten the previous time. I passed by a table where a guy was eating spaghetti. There were a few meatballs on it as well. When the waiter came to take the order, I don’t even know what that dish is called, so I have to make it up myself! Immediately, I said that I wanted “spaghetti meatballs”. Guess what? He nodded his head! Yeah, it was a lucky guess.

My gf ordered her usual lou-shu fun.

Then came my spaghetti meatballs.

SS2 Restoran Murni Spaghetti meatballs RM10

Those meatballs were HUGE I tell you! HUUUGGGGGEEEEEE!!!! They were probably the size of a tennis ball and there’s 6 of them to finish! It costs RM10 per plate while the lou-shu fun is only RM5.

It tasted like McDonald’s beefburger’s patty. Just that instead of flat, it’s rounded. They also “injected” cheese into the meatballs. So, it did taste exactly like McDonald’s beefburger. I had trouble finishing it. Two of those “tennis balls” could have made up one beefburger patty (or more). I remember wanting to vomit at the end of the meal. We walked for a few minutes before going back to hopefully help digest the balls. I nearly vomited in the car.

Never EVER eat their spaghetti meatballs if you are a “small eater”. You will either not be able to finish it, or you’ll end up puking your breakfast out. Hahaha.

Yeah, they are damn huge. Even after splitting them in half before putting them in my mouth, they were a mouthful! hehe. Better not try putting the whole thing in your mouth, you may choke. They do taste like McD’s cheese burger though.
