Post Blogathon 2007

I slept for 9 hours last night but woke up feeling like I haven’t slept in days. LOL. Again, thanks to those who have pledged. I’ve received a few emails asking how the pledge can be fulfilled. According to Blogathon’s post:

Remember, you still have 48 hours to let people pledge. Sponsor reminders will go out after that.

So, people still can pledge up to 48 hours after it ended. You guys should be receiving the reminders after that. Anyway, here is MAKNA’s donation page. You guys can check out their donation options. There are online and offline options available.

To those that do not have credit/debit card or cheques, you may donate through phone. I’m not sure how it works. Maybe they charge your phone bill? Anyway, you’ll need to give them a call at 03-4256 9178 from Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm to sort things out.

The 24 hours experience was almost magical. Now that it is over, everything will be back to normal. This post was written under 30 minutes. Thankfully, there isn’t another post to write within the next 30 minutes. LOL. ;-)

      this is truly a good experience for you

      p/s: for the next couple of days, do resume your normal “sleeping pattern” to re-align your body clock.

      eat, play, and rest normally ..

      Yep! Should be a great experience.

      Anyway, I’ve tried to donate to MAKNA using Maybank2U via their website.

      However, after filling in all the details and logging into Maybank2U, Maybank2U posts a stupid error that the Bill Account Name should not have spaces and etc…

      Anyway you are able to donate to MAKNA direct from Maybank2U too.

      1. Choose Online Bill Payment –> Open Payment.

      2. Under the More Payees, select “Zakat & Charity” from the drop-down menu and select ‘Next’.

      3. You’ll see the normal bill payment screen where you can choose MAKNA from the drop-down list again.

      4. Enter your amount and details. P/S You can’t enter spaces in the “Donor Name” field. (I don’t know why.. Go figure *phhffttt*)

      5. Request for your TAC and enter it in.. You’re set!

      Anyway, I’ll be donating via cheque since it’s easier to trace that way. :-)

      Hope that helps!!

      Ok, I’ll try. Anyway, I’ve been sleeping at 3-6am for a week or two even before the blogathon started. LOL.

      @Angie T
      Oh, I didn’t notice that. Thanks for the info!

      @HORNY ANG MOH
      Ok. Thanks.

      Hi Angie, what should I have for “Bill Account Holder Name”? I knew MAKNA accept payment via Maybank2U, but I am not sure if I can do so as I am having a “MyTeen” account, account for teenagers that can’t be used to send funds to other accounts online. But I think it works if I pay for company.

      Waiting for the “Bill Account Holder Name” now before I proceed. Anyone?

      Hi Vincent,

      By right, it should be your Maybank a/c name. The stupid thing is that it can’t accept spaces in between your names, e.g. “Angeline Tan” is considered invalid.

      I’m guessing that it would work if we omit spaces and etc… I don’t think I’ll try but I’ll be posting my cheque tomorrow.

      Hope that helps… ;-)
