Select the currency that you prefer and insert the amount that you pledge to donate. If you would like to donate anonymously, simply click on the “Please don’t share my name or email address with my blogger, thanks.” checkbox.

You should then be brought to the charity’s website (in this case, MAKNA). MAKNA accepts several methods of donation — credit card, debit card, phone, cheque / banker cheque / bank draft, telegraph transfer and campaigns. You can choose to donate immediately or wait till the blogger (in this case, me) has completed the blogathon.

Help me help MAKNA. A big thank you again to those who have pledged.

14 Thank You Cely For Pledging And Sponsoring MAKNA

One more pledge and sponsor on board! I present you Cely! Go check out her post on her 8 different hairstyle. I guess it’s true that girls seems to have more hairstyles throughout their teens to mid-age compared to a guy.

I think the 8 hairstyles I have in the past would be like hairstyles that make me:

1. look “normal”
2. look lou-tou / old-fashioned
3. look BALD! Yes, apparently I’m getting bald. *sigh* Well, I’m taking it as something good, after all they say that out of 10 rich guys, 9 are bald! HAHAHHAA.
4. look like a “kid”
5. look yao yeng / fashionable. OKOK, I have to admit this hairstyle might not exist.
6. look like samseng boy.
7 & 8….can’t think of already

I’m not posting any photos up though. A becoming-bald-but-not-rich dude’s face don’t look appealing. Hehehehe. But hey…you can’t see my face (yet) but you can hear me singing. I’m not sure who is more unlucky — me having to endure laughters behind my back or you guys having to listen to my ear-breaking voice sing.

If the amount pledged for MAKNA exceeds the USD400 mark, I’ll post up my first karaoke audio file! Currently, the amount pledged is already USD307.85. It is reachable and I’m not sure if it’s good news or not. LOL. Quick, before I change my mind!

13 Restoran Murni Spaghetti Meatball RM10

This is a continuation of my previous post.

One thing unique with Restoran Murni is that they do not have a menu! I mean, I think they don’t have one. If I’m not mistaken, the last time I asked them for one, they told me they don’t have any. Instead, the waiter started going, “Kita ada roti beckham, nasi goreng beckham, mee goreng beckham, ….”.

I don’t really remember what else they have. It seems that if they have “roti ABC”, they’ll also have “nasi/mee goreng ABC” etc. So, whenever I go there for food, it’s always a big headache to order my food. Therefore, the first thing I’ll do when I reach there is to look at what other people is eating. Or else, I’ll end up calling either lou-shu fun or roti beckham. Truth be told, I believe 80% of the customers do the same as well. The 20% must be regulars and have been there many many times.

So, when I was there the other day, I told myself that I MUST try something different from what I’ve eaten the previous time. I passed by a table where a guy was eating spaghetti. There were a few meatballs on it as well. When the waiter came to take the order, I don’t even know what that dish is called, so I have to make it up myself! Immediately, I said that I wanted “spaghetti meatballs”. Guess what? He nodded his head! Yeah, it was a lucky guess.

My gf ordered her usual lou-shu fun.

Then came my spaghetti meatballs.

SS2 Restoran Murni Spaghetti meatballs RM10

Those meatballs were HUGE I tell you! HUUUGGGGGEEEEEE!!!! They were probably the size of a tennis ball and there’s 6 of them to finish! It costs RM10 per plate while the lou-shu fun is only RM5.

It tasted like McDonald’s beefburger’s patty. Just that instead of flat, it’s rounded. They also “injected” cheese into the meatballs. So, it did taste exactly like McDonald’s beefburger. I had trouble finishing it. Two of those “tennis balls” could have made up one beefburger patty (or more). I remember wanting to vomit at the end of the meal. We walked for a few minutes before going back to hopefully help digest the balls. I nearly vomited in the car.

Never EVER eat their spaghetti meatballs if you are a “small eater”. You will either not be able to finish it, or you’ll end up puking your breakfast out. Hahaha.

12 SS2 Restoran Murni Is The Place To Eat At

One of my favourite restaurants in PJ is SS2’s Restoran Murni. I personally think that this restaurant should be included in one of the 7 wonders of the world. LOL. No, I’m serious. This restaurant occupies only 1 shop lot. However, the amount of tables that they provide might be equivalent to the amount provided by 10 restaurants of its size.

If you’ve never been to this place before, you may wonder how is that possible. Well, it’s possible because they arrange their tables outside their restaurants as well. There are dozens of tables arranged by the roadside. Not only that, they arrange their tables along the 5 foot walk of the entire building block as well. That’s possible because most of the other shops are closed at night.

The last time that I’ve been there, I was shocked to see that they’ve “extended” their business to the 5 foot walk of the building beside of it as well! That means, there are dozens of tables arranged up to 50-100 meters from the actual restaurant itself.

Seriously, how can you NOT include them in the 7 wonders of the world? I’ll blog about one of my dining experience at this restaurant in the next post. There will be photos as well. Yes…FOOD!!!!

11 If You Were Rich, What Would You Do?

If I were rich, I will buy a bungalow with a pool.

If I were rich, I will buy a sports car.

If I were rich, I will buy a high end DSLR camera.

If I were rich, I will buy 3 XBox 360, 3 40-inch screens and hook them up.

If I were rich, I will go for holidays overseas every year.

But most importantly,
I don’t need to be rich to pledge and donate to MAKNA.

So, what are you waiting for? ;-)
