@mooiness
It is very sad. I have no idea what the guys were thinking. A joke maybe? Compare this video with Namewee's Negarakuku. I personally feel that the former is a lot worse than the latter. They were all dressed up in "terrorist suits" and does look like a "certain group". Doesn't that tarnish Malaysia's image? So, I really wonder what the government is going to do about this.

@anthraxxxx
I read some comments saying it looked like a ruler as well. However, to me it looks like either a "sabit" or a "curved" keris.

@sandman
I've gone to the link you provided and honestly, I barely read 10% of it. Too much for me to take. From what I know, currently there is no such place as "Tanah Melayu". There's only Malaysia. Strange why the guys in the video used the "TM" term.

And I agree with you that they are somehow misguided. I don't know where the "terrorist idea" came in place but I can point to you where they could have gotten the keris idea.

I find the use of 'Tanah Melayu' disturbing too, considering at the same week, the term was discussed here (http://www.bakrimusa.com/archives/malaysia-and-the-myth-of-tanah-melayu)

Sad also to see some misguided youths who seem to be following the wrong trend (not just terrorists, but the keris)

I was pretty disgusted by it too and I'm pretty sure none of "them" would jump up and down about this one. Reverse the situation and see wht happen.

Disgraceful, especially so close to Merdeka Day.
