Well, my Muslim friends used to tell me the same thing. Just eat or drink even if it's in front of them because they really don't mind it. However, it's still a little strange to be doing that. Anyway, I think it's ok to eat/drink in front of our friends (if they don't mind) but not in front of a big crowd. After all, every individual is different.</description>
