It all started at Take That where there were four of them — Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, Howard Donald and Jason Orange. Robbie Williams jumped on the bandwagon a while later. Take That was one of the hottest boy bands in town in the nineties. I remember they were banned from performing in Malaysia. I don’t know why though. They were too hot for Malaysia to handle maybe. *sigh*
Anyway, I stumbled upon the video below featuring an interview with Gary Barlow in 1997. I was shocked at how firm fit he was. He used to be a lot “chubbier” when he was still in Take That. Hmmm…this brings back some memories in the past.

Not particularly a huge fan of Gary Barlow except for “So Help Me Girl”…
Robbie was in the band from the word go, they all auditioned together and were taken on together! Also Gary was never “chubby” in the early TT days, I persume thats what you mean as he is still in TT, he has put on alot of weight since the band originally split up.

Oppss…my mistake on the Robbie case. I browse around for their old photos and I do notice Gary looking fit in most of them. However, I am quite sure I saw him not being as fit during some of their concerts. I won’t say he is fat, just not as fit. He looks very fit in the interview above though.
