I have been so busy this few days that I didn’t realize today is Mooncake Festival, Lantern Festival or Mid-Autumn Festival (whichever you call it). I thought it is supposed to be next week! Anyway, I prefer to call it the Mooncake Festival because the only thing I do during the month before this day is eating mooncakes. Yum yum.

I have seen people promoting so many “special” types of mooncakes. Check out The Baker’s cottage’s selection of mooncakes. They don’t even sell those exotic mooncakes in the shops that I went. The only one that I bought which is different is chocolate cheese flavored. It is quite nice. I don’t know which brand it is though.

I hate jelly mooncake

The type of mooncakes that I don’t like is the “jelly types”. Yuck. It doesn’t taste like mooncakes at all. It is like eating jelly. Yuck yuck. Thank goodness this year no one gave or bought that type. :-P

I like ice-cream mooncakes and the teo-chew one, which is fried puff pastry with the yam filling. (Not sure if its teochew or not)

    Anyway, Happy mid-autumn festival! ;-)
