The electricity got cut off again this afternoon. Power was restored after two to three hours later. What is happening to TNB? This is the third blackout I am experiencing in the past two months or so. I didn’t bother to phone their help line this time so I didn’t get to ask what was wrong.
The previous blackout was quite a major one covering a large area in Kuantan. The newspaper reported TNB wanting to give a rebate to those affected. I have no idea if it will be done. I was blogging when the power got cut off. The computer just died off because the UPS’s battery is dead. I just hope my computer isn’t harmed in any way. It has already been acting a little strange once in a while.

I got an email from Pelf Nyok a few days ago. In the email, she mentioned that she has a turtle blog some where but did not include the link to it. I guess it is not ready for “public viewing” yet. Curiosity kicked in and I ended up searching for it myself. Behold, the turtle blog.
Anyway, she asked if I (and others) had any questions at all about turtles, terrapins (what on earth are terrapins?) or tortoises that she can answer. Questions like “Do turtles have teeth?” or “How many species of turtles are there in Malaysia?” or “Are the leatherback turtles really extinct?”
Since I can’t think of any smart questions like that, I am bringing up 10 silly questions that people would probably not dare to ask.
- How long can turtles hold their breath under water?
- How deep can a turtle swim in the sea?
- If a turtle flips over and lies on its back, how will it “unflip” itself?
- Can turtles live in fresh water?
- Do turtles mate on land or in the ocean? And how do they mate?
- How long is a turtle’s *ahem* when it is erect?
- What kind of sound does turtle make? (an audio file would be great)
- Do turtles have “inter-species” relationship? If yes, what are their newborns called?
- Do turtles live in groups, pairs or by individuals?
- Which is your favorite ninja turtle?
If any of you reading this have any other questions to ask, leave a comment below. Thank you!

It is 3.30am. Your stomach is growling seeking for your divine attention. What do you do?
1) Dress up.
2) Grab your Panasonic DMC-FZ3.
3) Drive to your favorite 24 hours mamak stall.
4) Feast like a beast.

Nothing beats a tasty plate of mee goreng mamak when you are starving.

Top it up with a cup of Nescafe kurang manis to wash it down and to help you stay awake for the next couple of hours. If that is not enough to fill you up, call another piece of roti canai kosong.

Now that the tank is full, it is time to continue working.

Namewee’s first album started selling in Malaysia on 3rd September 2007. It costs only RM13.90 for a CD. There are 10 songs in it; two of which are “karaoke versions” — only music without the lead vocals.
Check out the other proud owners of the Namewee album with photos.
In his pre-release promotion video, he did mention that whoever that bought or sold his album may be in trouble. Not sure how true that is but if you are one of those that are afraid to buy the CD in a store, you can buy it online at Eastern Records. It costs the same but you will have to pay for the delivery charges.
You can pay with credit card, bank transfer or money order. However, I strongly DO NOT recommend you pay by credit card. Their security in handling credit card payments is one of the worst that I have ever come upon.
- No SSL certificates encryption
- You key in your credit card number and the three digit security code and is probably sent and stored in their database or sent to their email

Remember my post on how to make a good cup of coffee? Well, at least it shows how to make a great looking cup of coffee. I was going through some of the folders in the computer and found the photo below. It was taken by my sister when she was in some coffee shop named Esquires Coffee House (I think). No idea where that is.

Anyway, I really wonder how someone should drink a cup of coffee that looks like that. I mean, the “right way” to drink it. Can we stir before drinking? Because it sure feels bad spoiling that coffee art.
