Taking Photo And Publishing It Legally

I have seen many photographs of individuals published in blogs and websites online. I am sure you have as well. Sometimes, the person (or people) in the photograph may be a stranger to the photographer.

I have always wondered if there is a legal issue regarding this where the photographer must seek the approval of the “model” before:

  1. taking the photo
  2. publishing it (online — blog, website, etc and offline — magazine, newspaper, etc)

There are many photos that I see online that I am quite sure the photographer didn’t get the approval of the person in the photo before publishing it. In this case, is it legally wrong or just ethically wrong of the photographer to be doing that? Or maybe the photographer isn’t wrong at all since they were in a public place?

Do you ask the permission of the “model” before taking their photo? Did you inform them that you may publish it online for the world to see? What are your thoughts on this?

Don’t Mess With A Lady And Her “P”

I found this video when I was looking at the previous one. This is just hilarious. Now, I am going to choose my words carefully and phrase them with utmost care. I don’t want to step on anyone’s toes with this post, especially not with a woman and her “P”.

The video started off with two ladies talking about how they enjoy their “P”.

“It was so good…just perfect.”

“Mine was okay, and then it became totally awesome.”

That was when I felt very strange about the whole video. Just watch it.

Boys and girls, don’t play with knives and guns. Someone may get hurt by it.

Happy Halloween. Want To Buy A Ghost?

Since it is Halloween today, I believe it is only appropriate to put up something Halloween related. I was wasting my time in YouTube when I stumbled upon the video below.

Do you want to buy a ghost? It will only cost you $5,000. Just imagine the amount of fun you are going to have. You can scare your friends with the ghost if you like. You can even do tricks with it. At the end of it, your ghost will even “multiply” itself. Wow!

Happy Halloween!

Invited For A Sneak Peak Of Nuffnang 2.0

Nuffnang has been working hard behind the scenes working on their brand new Nuffnang 2.0. Two months ago, they gave their Singaporean publishers a little sneak peak into their new system. Someone uploaded a video on the presentation onto YouTube as well. From the video, the new interface does look more delicious. *slurp*

The good news is that several Nuffnang Malaysia publishers have been invited to take a sneak peak at the new system and to comment on it lately. It is a good way to get initial feedbacks and to modify and improve some features before the actual launching of the system.

I wanted to keep this as a surprise but here goes. I am happy to be selected as one of the lucky ones to get a preview of the system before its launch. I will be meeting Timothy and the rest of the gang this Friday. Freethinker will be joining us as well. In fact, he reminded me to bring my camera along just in case “Timothy and the rest go trigger-happy on us”.

Celebrities hire bodyguards with guns to protect them. We bloggers equip ourselves with digital cameras instead. LOL. One thing is for sure, there will be some “shooting” going on that day. That is if I can get myself a bus ticket before it gets sold out.

Consequences Of Over Stretching Your Muscles

I had a good reminder of what over-stretching your muscles will do to your body yesterday. I used to be quite active when I was in secondary school. I joined St John and played softball. Although I wasn’t as fit as the other guys in my group, at least I was working out a little.

After a long period without any proper exercise, I went for a jog and did some weight lifting at home a few days ago. Last night when I just stepped out from the car, the muscle in my lower back pulled leaving me motionless in the middle of the road. I stood there for 30 seconds or so unable to move. I tried moving forward and backwards to hopefully ease of the pain but the more I moved, the worse it became.

Thank goodness it was night time and there weren’t any cars around. It would be very embarrassing to get honked for standing in the middle of the road like a statue as if it belonged to my grandfather’s.

The area in my body that hurts

The graph indicates the area in my body that is hurting. I hope it recovers soon. I can’t wait for my next exercise session. Before the fire burns out, I better get a few more laps in.
