I tried solving the Rubik’s Cube when I was in my early teens. I have to admit that I wasn’t very good at it. I did manage to solve it a couple of times although it took me all night to do it. How did I do it?
Well, there was a paper with the instructions in it that came together with cube. I positioned the Rubik’s Cube as it was in the diagram and followed the steps provided. That means I was looking at the piece of paper the whole time without actually looking at the cube. That is why I don’t even know how it was done.
I saw this YouTube video on how some people manage to solve the Rubik’s Cube in seconds! I am simply amazed. Just look at how fast they turn the damn thing. I could never turn it fast enough because if I don’t turn it precise enough, the next turn will be “stucked”.

I somehow found this Rubik Cube thing in my brother’s “sampah” that we brought back home from Singapore. When I got my hand on it, I just keep turning, left right up down, but no luck, worsen the pattern. Now I am trying to make at least 1 side the same color.

Hi, do you know where can i buy a good Rubik’s cube in M’sia, i mean not from the net. What i have now, only costs me RM2.50. It’s smaller than the ones in Rubiks.com, and gets ’stuck’ very often. I have to be gentle with it.
I managed to learn and solve the Rubik’s cube (without looking at the tutorials) within a day. And i could do it within less than 10minutes every time. With my cheap cube, and a few simple steps, my best time is only 4:10mins. I couldn’t go any faster, so i changed my method of solving, and it’s faster now, by at least 25%. I thought that step1 as the cross, is the best, but i’ve found out that it might not be true.
It’s fun doing the Rubik’s cube. Next time i’ll try the Rubik’s revenge. A 4×4x4x cube.

Wow. You guys must be seriously some genius or something. I can never grab the concept of it. I can solve the cube up to 2/3 from bottom up only. Maybe I am doing it the wrong way.
I have no idea where you can get a good Rubik’s cube though. I used to play with the cheap ones too. That is why it gets stuck so often. I hope you are able to find a good one.

I just solved my first Rubik’s cube a few days ago… Before I solved it, I was so fustrated. I took a few nights to learn the concept to sovle it. So don’t fret, continue looking at you piece of paper but at the same time, look at your cube. It may be a little hard at first, but you will soon get the hang of it. Once you solve your first Rubik’s cube all by yourself, without the help of guides or paper, you will feel a sense of satisfactory. Really!
