Google has been doing the PR dance again lately. I am quite blessed with what I got. I wouldn’t be too happy about it though as I am taking a cautious approach to this. I fear it may change again in the near future causing some changes.

Anyway, the biggest PR juice loss that I know of up to know is Statcounter where it dropped from 10 to 6. However, I was surprised to see YouTube having a PR3 this afternoon. There is no way YouTube will ever be a PR3.

I checked Dig PageRank and noticed that there are a handful of 8 while the rest is 3. Could this round of update be a mistake or something? There is no way on (Google) earth that YouTube will be ranked 3.

Actually I feel something wrong too. Hmm.. most probably there will have adjustment again on PR.. No way YouTube is PR3… I worry that I PR also will change soon… :(

With the fluctuating of PR and the act of “selfishness” of Google on blog advertising, I hope that advertisers and many other companies will not take PR as a reference anymore. Once everyone abandons PR, PR will be like nothing.

PR is not everything. Drop the PR,focus on your content.

Yeah, but there is nothing that we can do.

Up to a certain degree, PR does play a role. Unless the world completely drops off Google. I agree that other measurements can be implemented for blog advertising that doesn’t include PR. Let’s see what they come up with.

    Ya, thanks for you advice.
