I had a good reminder of what over-stretching your muscles will do to your body yesterday. I used to be quite active when I was in secondary school. I joined St John and played softball. Although I wasn’t as fit as the other guys in my group, at least I was working out a little.
After a long period without any proper exercise, I went for a jog and did some weight lifting at home a few days ago. Last night when I just stepped out from the car, the muscle in my lower back pulled leaving me motionless in the middle of the road. I stood there for 30 seconds or so unable to move. I tried moving forward and backwards to hopefully ease of the pain but the more I moved, the worse it became.
Thank goodness it was night time and there weren’t any cars around. It would be very embarrassing to get honked for standing in the middle of the road like a statue as if it belonged to my grandfather’s.

The graph indicates the area in my body that is hurting. I hope it recovers soon. I can’t wait for my next exercise session. Before the fire burns out, I better get a few more laps in.

Does the tone of the colour indicate the more painful area ? Ur ahem very red wor..
If what Freethinker said is true, it means you overstrained your ahem.
ouccchhhh…..
did you do a proper warm-up before you started your weight training? it’s always like that. my entire body was in pain last weekend when i went to the gym on friday and subsequently after that, i was involved in very strenuous activities.
anyway, if possible do the proper stretching after your next exercise.
@Freethinker
Hahahaha. Actually, I wanted to do that, as in having a few tones to indicate which area hurt more. My AHEM is perfectly fine, thank you
@anthraxxxx
No worries. My AHEM is fine. LOL.
@Angie Tan
Errr…not really. I did some stretching but I am quite sure it wasn’t enough.
